The military institution announced that 16 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the Tula region, 14 over the Bryansk region, the same number over Kaluga, 13 over the Moscow region, others over Tver, 10 over the Belgorod region, and the same number over the Kursk region.
Additionally, eight drones were destroyed over the Oryol region, seven over the Republic of Crimea, two over Smolensk, one over Nizhny Novgorod, and one more over the Novgorod region.
Bryansk Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz informed that there were no injuries or damages after the destruction of drones in that Russian province, and the operational and emergency services will be working on the spot.
Meanwhile, the national air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, reported intermittent closures of the four Moscow and Kaluga airports during the day for security reasons.
The Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and the Republic of Crimea, regularly report shelling, drone strikes, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek shelter elsewhere.
