According to Xinhua, attendees expressed their commitment to strengthening unity and cooperation in Asia to contribute to global peace and progress.

Chinese President Xi Jinping recently called for strengthening and opening a new chapter in regional relations. “We must focus on building a community of shared destiny with our neighbors,” the president emphasized at a high-level meeting.

The conference emphasized that the countries surrounding China are fundamental to the Chinese development, national security, and global diplomacy.

Asia is the natural area of ​​greatest influence for the world’s second-largest economy, and numerous experts point to the importance Beijing places on its surroundings.
