The Congress, active until Friday, May 30, will open with a keynote speech by Sergio Luis Peña, dean of the Higher Institute of Design (ISDi), on its central theme.
The opening academic program includes another lecture: How to design books to make people read again, by Argentine Daniel Wolkowicz.
The program offers two other significant moments: the presentations of the Trans-culture Program of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization), which integrates Cuba, the Caribbean, and the European Union (EU) through culture and creativity in the exchange and cooperation between the region and Europe.
The design strategy of Havana Club International, the best-known Cuban rum in the world, will be added to this transcendental moment.
FORMA_25, taking place at Havana’s Conference Center, includes, in its academic program, the 12th Meeting for the designs training, communication, and arts professionals and the 9th Design and Communication Meeting.
