The Safa news agency reported that 23 people were killed and dozens injured by Israeli aircraft fire on citizens waiting for help on Salah al-Din Street in the center of the Strip.

Two other bodies were recovered from the southern city of Khan Yunis, and three more in a raid on a house in the Al-Shati refugee camp, the source said.

Safa detailed that five more were killed in a similar incident in the neighborhood of Sabra, located in the northern city of Gaza.

Hours earlier, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) accused the Israeli army of killing 454 Palestinians and wounding 3,466 in attacks against people trying to receive food in aid centers in Gaza.

Hamas criticized in a statement the mechanism created by the United States and Israel to distribute aid in the coastal enclave, also questioned by the United Nations.

The so-called food delivery points are nothing more than calculated death traps, used to cause famine and humiliate our compatriots as part of a systematic policy of genocide, the Islamist formation said.

The commissioner-general of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, Philippe Lazzarini, said this month that this program does not address the famine in the territory.

The so-called new way of managing aid in Gaza is extremely degrading, humiliating and puts lives at risk, he wrote on social network X.
