In September 2024, both states signed a series of agreements for mutual assistance in the transfer of sanctioned persons and the enforcement of criminal sentences.
They also signed a memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation between the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Seychelles.
