The feast of the Anaic began last June 27 in the Convent of San Francisco and San Antonio, Salerno, with the conference on Santería, between Catholicism and resistance, by the Cubans resident in Italy Ulises Mora e Irma Castillo, promoters of the cultural project Timbalaye.
In this initial day, coordinated by Loredana Marino, Anaic representatives, , the anthropologist Laura Marchetti, as well as Luigi de Magistris, former European parliamentarian and former mayor of Naples took the floor.
Last Saturday, at 17:30 local time, an Anti-Fascist Table was held, with the participation of writer Sonia Zanotti, jurist Mirelle Fanon, Cuban sociologist Indira Pineda, Venezuelan consul Esquia Rubín, and filmmaker Loredana Macchietti, President of the Gianni Minna Foundation
There was later a panel coordinated by the president of the Anaic, Marco Papacci, with the theme Cuba: the Island in defense of humanity in the trumpian era, where the Cuban ambassador to Italy, Mirta Granda, Gerardo Hernández, as well as the journalists Annalisa Capaldo, Erminia Pellecchia and Giorgia Bozzetto took the floor.
Today, in addition to the session dedicated to the solidarity work of Cuban doctors in Calabrian hospitals, there will be a debate, coordinated by the former president of the Anaic, Irma Dioli, with the theme Peace beyond wars.
