Popular religiosity and visual arts will be under discussion, and representatives of Caribbean poetry, archaeology, popular theater, film, and education in the region will meet.

As every year, the Parade of the Snake, a gala dedicated to the guest country (Curacao), a meeting with parade groups, and a closing ceremony with the traditional “Fire Parade” and the “Burning of the Devil,” a magical-religious practice that gives the festival its popular name, the Fire Festival, will be also present.
