The initiative, led by musician Jorge Luis Robaina, popularly known as Jorgito Karamba, has the support of artists and groups committed to promoting culture in a more public-facing setting.

To kick off the summer season, Havana’s Latin American Stadium, will host performances by the groups Karamba and Buena Fe, respectively, this Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, several events for children will take place in the morning.

Organized by the event management company 360 Producciones SRL, Fiesta Arte Barrio held its first community event at the end of August 2024, at El Monaco Cultural Center in Diez de Octubre municipality, as part of Havana’s summer farewell celebrations.

The initiative later expanded to other neighborhoods and municipalities in the Cuban capital city.

The event is sponsored by, among others, Havana’s Provincial Directorate of Culture, EGREM Record Company, the Cuban Music Institute, and the Ministry of Culture.
