The Palestinian leader stated that such a stance is part of the objectives of that country’s right-wing colonial government and is an extremely dangerous action.

Fattouh asserted that the plan is a flagrant violation of international law, United Nations Security Council resolutions on the subject, and the Arab Peace Initiative.

He added that it reveals a systematic escalation aimed at eliminating any possibility of achieving peace and stability in the region.

He explained that this approach is nothing more than an attempt to escalate the conflict and serves to hide the domestic political crisis facing the Israeli government due to the deep differences among its members.

Fattouh urged the world, including the UNSC, the European Union, and the Arab League, to take “clear positions and deterrent measures against this dangerous Israeli trend.”
