Russia gains ground in control of conflict zone towns

Moscow, July 7 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it has taken control of two more towns in the Ukrainian provinces of Dnepropetrovsk and Sumy.

“As a result of active and decisive operations by units of the Center troop group, the town of Dachnoe in Dnepropetrovsk province was liberated,” the military statement said.

The agency also detailed that units of the Northern Army Group of Russia control the territory of Bessalovka, in Sumy.

In its daily report, the military ministry detailed that Russian forces also expelled Ukrainian troops from seven other residential areas in the special military operation zone last week.

Along these lines, they took control of Melovoye and Sobolevka, in Kharkiv territory, where the Russian Army continues to expand the buffer zone to protect border regions from enemy attacks.

Likewise, in the Donetsk People’s Republic, they expelled Kiyiv troops from Razino, Novoukrainka, Chervonaya Zirka, Predtechino, and Poddubnoye.

The Ministry also stated that the total casualties of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the last day are estimated at around 1,245, of which more than 440 were in the Center group’s zone of operations and more than 210 in the West group.
