In a statement, the organization noted that the measure adds to a series of actions such as the theft of oil tankers bound for Cuba and the partial suspension and exorbitant fees imposed for Cuban visas.
“The imperial regime, rabid and decadent, burdened by acute internal civil conflict, has escalated its rhetoric and military aggression against Our America, labeling Cuba an ‘unusual and extraordinary threat’ to its national security, in order to impose extraterritorial sanctions and pressure for a change of government,” the statement asserts.
It is considered extreme hypocrisy that the country with the world’s largest military, the only one to have dropped nuclear bombs on women and children, and which has attacked more countries than any other in history, accuses a dignified and peaceful people of threatening it.
