The commemoration takes place in the city of Juan Lacaze, a historic FA stronghold in the department of Colonia, west of Montevideo, with its president, Fernando Pereira, as the main speaker.

This is the first anniversary event of the FA in its second term as government, following President Yamandu Orsi’s inauguration in March 2025.

Sources of the left-wing political group stated that it will be an opportunity to celebrate achievements such as the approval of the five-year budget and the public policies developed to benefit the most vulnerable people, and call on party members to come out and defend the government.

Also, to listen to sectors that expect changes following the budget’s approval and those that have expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s foreign policy projections.
