This was confirmed by the North Korean news agency KNA, which reported on the leader’s recent visit to the institution to tour the site, examine every detail of the construction progress, and review the creation and placement of the sculptures.
The Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK expressed positive opinions on the design of the exterior walls and emphasized that this museum is not merely an architectural structure, but rather a tribute from the Party, the nation, and the people to the heroic soldiers, honoring their valuable lives.
Kim insisted that the unparalleled courage and massive heroism of the soldiers who participated in overseas military operations must be recorded with dignity in history, as an invincible banner.
The leader emphasized the need to describe all elements from an ideological and artistic perspective, and also outlined a series of corrective measures and remedies.
According to Kim, who is also the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the military personnel, designers, and creators involved in the construction have a duty to erect the museum as a sacred palace and a grand monument of its time.
In Kim’s words, this work will stand as a symbol of the martyrs’ heroic deeds and enduring legacy, conveying from the depths of the heartfelt tribute of the Party and the people.
