The data, updated by department, shows that the service interruptions were concentrated mainly in Montevideo, Colonia, Canelones, and San Jose, where it rained throughout the early morning.
Montevideo is the most affected department, with 2,371 customers without electricity.
The report was released amid warnings issued by the Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology, which predicted rain and storms in different parts of the country.
