One hundred and forty-eight years after the Baragua Protest, the Cuban people reaffirm to imperialism that, faced with attempts to undermine their sovereignty, they will give the decisive response of the Bronze Titan: “We do not understand each other.”
Cuba recalls this chapter of its history, as well as the courage and steadfastness of its protagonist, with immense pride.
It is no coincidence that the country’s banner has been an eternal Baragua.
