The statement was made by Acting Senate President Ouch Borith during a meeting in the capital with South Korean Ambassador to this nation, Kim Chang-yong.
Both sides agreed that ties between the two countries are experiencing sustained growth in multiple sectors, due to joint efforts and the vision of their respective leaderships.
Borith underscored that the normalization of relations in 1997 paved the way for the current partnership, while highlighting the existing potential to expand cooperation, both bilaterally and inter-parliamentarily.
Kim, in turn, noted that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027 will be an opportunity to further elevate the partnership.
