Amidst the celebration of Cuba’s victory over the US backed mercenary invasion by the Bay of Pigs, Solicuba expressed that “The Yankee administration has persisted in its attacks and preparations for aggression aimed at suffocating Cuba and destroying its government, its entire people, and its victorious Revolution”.

Washington keeps repeating the same warmongering rhetoric of hatred and destruction that characterizes the speech and actions of Donald Trump administration, which is reaping impressive defeats in various parts of the world, the statement reads.

“That same genocidal administration, determined to keep the flame of war burning in the world, is resuming its threats of military aggression against Cuba through an armed intervention on the land of Jose Marti”, the message goes saying.

Solicuba warns that Cuba “has withstood the brutal Yankee offensive that began 65 years ago with the genocidal imperialist blockade; this has been possible thanks to the boundless heroism of its people and the steadfastness of its government, but also thanks to the international solidarity that has always showed that Cuba is not alone.”

The group points out that various peoples and governments have helped Cuba in the face of the atrocious crime of blocking the supply of fuel, food, and medicine, “to subdue a sovereign people and subject them to the absolute will of the empire.”

“In Cuba, the fate of all humanity, the independence of nations, the sovereignty of states, and the inalienable rights of peoples are at stake,” Solicuba warns.
