According to official reports and local media, the bombings were concentrated mainly in the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil, where fighter jets and drones carried out more than 70 air raids, accompanied by artillery attacks.
The offensive is part of an operation that began on March 2, which continues despite the truce agreed upon on April 17, initially for ten days and later extended until May 17.
In response, Hezbollah carried out 12 attacks against Israeli targets in southern Lebanon, targeting four tanks, a self-propelled artillery piece, a Hummer-type military vehicle, and five troop concentrations, as well as shooting down a drone, according to the organization itself.
Israel, for its part, confirmed the death of one soldier and injuries to 15 others in two of these attacks.
Lebanese authorities denounced the continued Israeli incursions as daily violations of the ceasefire, with direct impacts on homes and infrastructure in dozens of towns in the south of the country.
