The work, centered in the municipality of Rafael Freyre, is located in the areas of La Caridad and Loma del Cedro, vital areas for connecting to renewable energy sources given the limitations of fossil fuels.
Acimut anticipates that the injection of 21.8 megawatts in La Caridad will provide relief to the sector and facilitate the installation of new storage modules to guarantee supply during hours without solar radiation.
Company officials expressed that Loma del Cedro will become a technological benchmark with the concrete pouring of pillars for inverters and the foundation work for structures that will contribute an additional 10 megawatts to the National Electrical System.
Despite the technical challenges of the complex terrain, the professionals intend to complete the drainage systems and access roads, according to reports from the company, which has built 10 parks in the country.
