According to the source, an Israeli unit consisting of six military vehicles entered the village of Saida al-Hanout, where they detained several shepherds before arresting one of them.
SANA stated that the action is part of the ongoing harassment practices carried out by Israeli forces against residents of the region.
The force also advanced toward the village of Al-Razaniya, where it temporarily set up a checkpoint at the junction leading to Saida al-Golan, before withdrawing from the area.
Neither Israeli nor Syrian authorities immediately commented on the incident.
In recent months, Israeli incursions into southern Syria have intensified, including raids, house searches, the establishment of checkpoints, and the arrest of civilians, including shepherds and minors, according to Damascus.
These developments coincide with recent statements by Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, who asserted that negotiations with Israel are progressing with difficulty due to Israel’s insistence on maintaining its presence in Syrian territory.
