“At the ‘Travel!’ International Tourism Forum, which will be held from June 10 to 14 at the National Economy Achievement Exhibition (VDNJ) in Moscow, national pavilions from nine countries will be presented, including those of Belarus, Nicaragua, Thailand and Sri Lanka, for the first time; as well as those of Venezuela, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda and Abkhazia,” the statement said.
The note indicates that the international presence opens additional opportunities for the development of receptive and emissive tourism, the formation of new tourist links, as well as for the expansion of commercial cooperation between the States.
Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitri Vajrukov called the forum one of the largest platforms for developing international tourism talks.
“As it is traditional, we will hold a series of (meetings of) working groups and bilateral meetings in the framework of the consecutive work to relax restrictions on the visa regime, increase accessibility of transport and launch direct flights,” commented the vice-minister cited in the statement.
It was previously announced that the forum will be attended by delegations from more than 30 countries.
