In this regard, it echoes the denunciation by the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) against new US sanctions that, they assert, are aimed at “criminalizing the world solidarity with the heroic Cuban people” in order to further suffocate the Caribbean country.
In response to this new hostile action from Washington, a statement from the Peruvian coordinating committee reaffirms its solidarity with the ICAP and with Amistur, a company specializing in serving visitors interested in learning more about the achievements of the Cuban Revolution.
Furthermore, it calls on the groups that comprise the coordinating committee to reject the attempt to “impede the solidarity of all the world’s peoples who send increasing aid to Cuba every day, thus breaking the US blockade.”
“Our Coordinating Committee, along with all its member organizations, reaffirms its commitment to developing more solidarity actions with the ICAP and the Cuban people, and we will demonstrate through our actions that Cuba is not alone,” he added.
