An official statement noted that the measure was adopted in accordance with the Export Control Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Export Control Regulations for Dual-Use Items.
The Ministry stated that the entities listed could not be verified regarding the end user and destination of the dual-use items.
The Chinese authority affirmed that it will implement stricter end-user and destination review of dual-use items destined for the entities included on the list.
The list includes companies such as Mitsui E&S Co., Ltd., Terra Drone Corporation, ACSL Ltd., Mitsubishi Nuclear Fuel Co., Ltd., Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited, Fujitsu Network Solutions Limited, and OKI Electric Industry Co., Ltd, among others.
The measure also comes amid a deep diplomatic crisis between the two nations and following repeated warnings from Beijing about a remilitarization process in Japan being pursued by the current government.
