Cuba and the DRC have maintained historic ties of friendship and cooperation since the establishment of their diplomatic relations on April 15, 1974.
The Caribbean nation has contributed to the training of dozens of young Congolese people, while reiterating its willingness to share experiences in various fields for the benefit of mutual economic growth and well-being.
For its part, Africa’s second-largest country has maintained its support for the just demand of the Cuban people and government to end the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed for more than six decades by the United States.
