Araghchi responded on X to statements attributed to Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz against the Iranian leadership and Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

The Iranian foreign minister affirmed that the terms of the agreement signed with the United States on June 14 are clear and available to everyone.

The diplomat added that US President Donald Trump pledged to restrain his allies in Tel Aviv, and warned that, if they ignore his orders, Iran “will teach them a hard lesson.”

Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Katz, who affirmed having ordered the army to prepare an independent plan for a possible attack on Iran and stated that the war could break out “tomorrow.”

The newspaper noted that Katz described Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei as an “assassination target.”
