Zelenskyy reported on these agreements regarding military-grade drones—reached with Tallinn and Amsterdam in the context of the NATO summit—and noted that a similar document is being prepared with Canada, according to the Ukrinform agency on Wednesday. The report specifies that the agreement is aimed at developing the joint production of drones, defense technologies, and airspace defense systems.
“Together, we’re building a new security architecture. It was with Denmark that we initiated joint production in Ukraine based on the Danish model, and it is only fair that Denmark now has access to Ukrainian exports of combat-proven weapons,” Zelenskyy stated.
The leader noted that this is the ninth such agreement for Kyiv. Additionally, Zelenskyy spoke with the Danish Prime Minister about strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and the European system for countering ballistic threats.
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten confirmed the signing of the agreement on social media, highlighting that it lays the groundwork for structured defense cooperation, and added that support for Kyiv remains fundamental to European security.
In June, Ukraine and Latvia signed a comprehensive defense cooperation agreement regarding drones.
