The Russian legislator pointed out that the decision to implement economic reforms is necessary due to the complex situation, and at the same time, it has been carefully considered. It should not be interpreted as a panic reaction by the Cuban leadership. In fact, Cubans are very calm and confident about their future, despite the situation.
He noted that the ruling party and the government know how to communicate with the population. Earlier, at the opening of an exhibition at the State Duma dedicated to the 100th birthday of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, Cuban Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Enrique Orta, thanked this nation for its support.
