It highlighted the resilience of the Cuban people in the face of difficulties stemming from the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by Washington for over six decades.
The statement noted that Cuba faces a complex situation, marked by an energy squeeze that has impacted the national power grid and caused prolonged blackouts.
Nevertheless, it emphasized that the Cuban people remain steadfast and dignified in the face of external pressures and campaigns seeking to destabilize the Caribbean nation.
The community also rejected recent measures adopted by the United States against the island’s energy and commercial sectors, as well as sanctions targeting Cuban international medical cooperation.
In this regard, it described these actions as an act of aggression against internationally recognized humanitarian work and expressed its support for the health professionals providing services in various countries.
Cubans residing in Nicaragua reaffirmed their commitment to defending national sovereignty and noted that they are carrying out initiatives to support the island, including fundraising for the purchase of solar panels.
