The handover took place in the parking lot of Saturnino Lora Provincial Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital, one of the leading health facilities in the province, where several construction and renovation projects have been carried out in recent years.
The handover comes amidst the intensification of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the Cuban people, which particularly affects the health system.
