According to the minister, exports of Russian agricultural products to the Chinese market increased by 43,1% in the first seven months of this year, and at the same time, imports also showed positive growth, increasing by 15,7%.

“Our trade volume in agricultural cooperation is growing annually. Last year it reached approximately 11 billion dollars. Both imports and exports are growing in both directions,” Lut stated.

It should be noted that, in the first seven months of 2026, Russian exporters shipped 895,000 tons of grain to China.

Recently, the Chinese ambassador to Moscow, Zhang Hanhui, announced a 26% increase in total bilateral trade during the first half of the year.
