Appointments are available for children and adolescents aged nine to 15, the agency reported via its official website.
Two mass vaccination centers will operate in Montevideo—the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU) and the Sodre National Auditorium—offering a total of 10,000 appointment slots.
In the department of Canelones, 11 simultaneous vaccination sites will be set up, with a capacity for 5,000 people. Advance appointments will be mandatory in both departments, given the size of the target population.
For the rest of the country, vaccination centers with extended hours and access points will be available at Departmental Health Directorates, public and private outpatient clinics, and shopping malls, among other locations, with no appointment necessary. jdt/ool
