The military institution reported that units from the North battlegroup are fostering the encirclement in the Kharkiv region and expanding the outer control zone, while simultaneously establishing control over Reznikovo and Kupino, which lie within the encircled area.

The Ministry estimated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered about 1,405 casualties over the last 24 hours in the special military operation zone.

The East battlegroup inflicted more than 230 casualties.

Ukraine lost up to 200 military personnel in the operational zone of the West battlegroup, up to 160 in the South battlegroup, and more than 50 in the Dnieper group.

The Ukrainian Army also lost eight armored combat vehicles, 87 motor vehicles, three artillery pieces, and eight electronic warfare stations.
