Feihe is China’s leading infant formula producer and has expanded its presence into markets in North America and Southeast Asia.

Li Nan, General Manager of Feihe (Ningxia) Biotechnology Dairy, explained to Prensa Latina that the company implements the “FRESH” system to integrate environmental protection and scientific innovation into its industrial chain.

Feihe also boasts six factories recognized as national-level “green facilities” in China, having pioneered the switch from coal to gas within the country’s dairy industry.

During a visit to the Lingwu plant—designed to transform local fresh milk into high-value-added products—Prensa Latina learned about the production of milk powder for infant formula, lactoferrin, whey powder, casein, lactose, and cream.

According to Li, the plant has an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons of fresh milk and directly creates 300 jobs in the Ningxia region.

The company also boosts sectors linked to transportation, packaging, and retail within the region.
