Kinshasa, Dec 10 (Prensa Latina) The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned of the ongoing, unprecedented cholera outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), considered the worst in 25 years. Since January 2015, more than 64,000 people have been affected by the disease, with nearly 1,900 deaths recorded. Children represent a significant proportion of those infected and deceased, with 14,000 and 340 deaths, respectively.
