The President is expected to arrive in the afternoon at the International Airport of Cali, where the event is taking place.
The Conference seeks proposals from various entities and representatives of 15 countries to define a roadmap towards a world summit that rethinks drug policies.
López Obrador will meet with Colombian President Gustavo Petro, with whom he shares the concept of the failure of the war on drugs.

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, among others, will participate in the event, along with a group of observer countries.
