The event takes place as part of the International Specialized Exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies and the Russian Petrochemical Forum”, being held from May 21st to 24th at the “EXPO” exhibition complex in the city.

The participation of the Cuban delegation in the event has been an opportunity for exchange and to determine new business opportunities in the oil industry.

The CUPET representatives visited the areas of the Ufa Petroleum Institute, where 44 Cuban students are being trained in different specialties of the oil industry as part of their activities. They also took a tour of the different faculties of the institution, where they appreciated the capabilities to carry out work research groups, and visited the training areas in industrial safety and firefighting.

The delegation held a meeting with the rector of the Petroleum Institute, Oleg Baulin, who confirmed his willingness to expand cooperation in the training of students and cadres.

According to the organizers, the 32nd exhibition and conference are held to develop the oil and gas industry, introduce new technologies and innovative equipment, and find solutions to key issues of industry development in today’s realities. It also aims to create a comprehensive and reliable assessment of the challenges of the Russian oil and gas industry through an open debate of expert opinion leaders.

Every year, the exhibition grows and adopts new scales, attracting the attention of an increasingly professional audience.
