The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and its Ukrainian Insurgent Army committed numerous crimes, including the Volyn massacre, the mass extermination of the Polish population of the village of Volyn in 1943.
Thousands of Ukrainians who refused to collaborate with the nationalists were cruelly murdered.
