Both authors have done several works on the Argentine-Cuban revolutionary fighter, and among their best-known titles are La “CIA contra el Che” (The CIA against Che), “De Ñancahuazu a La Higuera” (From Ñancahuazu to La Higuera), and “El asesinato del Che en Bolivia. Revelations” (The Murder of Che in Bolivia. Revelations).
In a meeting on Tuesday evening, Gonzalez explained that this new text is a compilation of three books that were sold out in Cuba.
The first one is “Canto Inconcluso” (Unfinished Song), which recalls Ernesto Guevara’s childhood, adolescence, and youth through the memory of his family; and the second one, “Calida Presencia” (Warm Presence), is his relationship with a close friend, Tita Infante, of which a play was made.
Meanwhile, the third chapter is “Che Entre Nosotros” (Che Among Us), which is the impressions of young Cubans who knew him from various aspects of his life.
Froilan Gonzalez stated that Chile has always been an important place in his research and recalled that the book “El Diario del Che en Bolivia” (The Diary of Che in Bolivia) came out in this country after a Bolivian man gave it to colleagues of Punto Final magazine.
The launch of the new title in this capital is a tribute to the Heroic Guerrilla’s 97th birthday, on June 14.
