A note released by the Italian Foreign Ministry indicates that one of the three C-130 aircraft used in this operation landed yesterday at Linate military airport in the northern province of Milan with six minors and 19 family members on board, who were received by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
Among them was Adam, the only one of 10 siblings to survive an Israeli bombing of civilians on May 23, who arrived in Italy accompanied by his mother, Alaa Alnajjar, a 36-year-old Palestinian pediatrician.
The other two Italian Air Force aircraft with the remaining 11 patients and 34 companions, for a total of 70 people, arrived on the night of June 11 at the airports of Pratica di Mare, in Rome, and Verona, in the Veneto region, from where they were transferred to health centers to receive treatment.
Among the hospitals to which they were assigned are Regina Margherita in Turin; Niguarda in Milan; Papa Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo; Padua in Veneto; Meyer in Florence; Pediatrico Apuano in Massa; Maggiore in Bologna; and Gemelli and Bambino Gesù, both in Rome.
So far, 150 Palestinian children wounded during the Israeli aggression, which has already claimed the lives of more than 54,000 people, have arrived in Italy as part of Rome’s initiatives to support the population of the Strip with humanitarian aid, including the Food program for Gaza
Upon receiving Adam and the other children who will receive medical care, Tajani said, “I hope these children receive the best treatment, that they can return to live in peace, far from the bombs, in a different climate, and that they can smile again.”

Arribaron a Italia niños palestinos heridos en ataques de Israel
Roma, 12 jun (Prensa Latina) Un total de 17 niños palestinos, heridos en ataques de Israel contra la Franja de Gaza, arribaron a Italia en tres vuelos humanitarios, para recibir atención médica en diversos hospitales de este país, indica hoy un comunicado. Una nota divulgada por la cancillería italiana indica que, uno de los tres aviones C-130 empleados en esta operación, aterrizó la víspera en el aeropuerto militar de Linate, en la norteña provincia de Milán, con seis menores y 19 familiares a bordo, quienes fueron recibidos por el ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Antonio Tajani.
Entre los mismos se encontraba Adam, el único de 10 hermanos que sobrevivió a un bombardeo israelí contra civiles el pasado 23 de mayo, quien llegó a Italia acompañado por su madre, Alaa Alnajjar, una pediatra palestina de 36 años.
Las otras dos aeronaves de la Fuerza Aérea Italiana con los restantes 11 pacientes y 34 acompañantes, para un total de 70 personas, arribaron en la noche del 11 de junio último a los aeropuertos de Pratica di Mare, en Roma y de Verona, en la región del Véneto, desde donde se trasladaron a centros de salud para recibir tratamiento.
Entre los hospitales a los que fueron destinados se encuentra el Regina Margherita de Turín; el Niguarda, de Milán; el Papa Giovanni XXIII, de Bérgamo; el de Padua, en Véneto; el Meyer, de Florencia; el Pediátrico Apuano, de Massa; el Maggiore, de Bolonia, así como el Gemelli y el Bambino Gesù, ambos de Roma.
Hasta el momento arribaron a Italia 150 niños palestinos heridos durante la agresión israelí, que ya costó la vida a más de 54 mil personas, como parte de las iniciativas de Roma para apoyar a la población de la Franja con ayuda humanitaria, entre las cuales se incluye el programa Alimentos para Gaza.
Al recibir a Adam y el resto de los menores que recibirán atención médica, Tajani expresó que “espero que estos niños reciban el mejor tratamiento, que puedan volver a vivir en paz, lejos de las bombas, en un clima diferente y que puedan volver a sonreír”.
