The report of the military body, published on Friday on its official Telegram page, specifies that 22 unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft type, were shot down over the territory of Oryol; 14 in Kursk; seven in Belgorod; five in Voronez and three in the provinces of Volgograd, Rostov, Tula and Bryansk, as well as one in Moscow.
The military ministry reported no casualties or major material damage and praised the effectiveness of the systems for combating enemy drones.
The Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, reported that for the second day in a row, temporary restrictions on operations were imposed at Kaluga and Volgograd airports to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights.
It was clarified that the aforementioned air terminals did not receive or send aircraft temporarily and that crews, air traffic controllers and airport services took the necessary measures.
Russian territories bordering Ukraine such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh, as well as the Crimean peninsula, regularly report shell hits, drone raids and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek refuge elsewhere.
