The head of Russian diplomacy, who is visiting that Asian nation, noted that any provocative actions against the DPRK should be avoided for the sake of peace, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement this Saturday.
Lavrov added that the strengthening of the military alliances of the United States, South Korea, and Japan, which are increasingly conducting large-scale military maneuvers, including some with a nuclear component, is also very dangerous.
Therefore, the potential for conflict here is also serious, the minister stated.
The Russian foreign minister also underscored that Moscow will do everything possible to guarantee Pyongyang’s legitimate rights and “not allow provocations that could end badly.”
