Ukraine announces resumption of arms supply from US

Kiev, Jul 12 (Prensa Latina) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky affirmed on Saturday that the United States has resumed arms supply to his country.

It underscored that Kiev had received signals of confirmation.

“We are receiving political signals at the highest level; good signals, especially from the United States and our European friends.

According to all reports, supplies have resumed,” the president stated this Saturday in a video posted on his Telegram channel.

The New York Times reported on July 2 that the United States would suspend supplies of Patriot missiles, GMLRS high-precision munitions, Hellfire guided missiles, Stinger man-portable missile systems, and other weapons to Kiev.

US President Donald Trump stated on July 3 that Washington continues to provide military aid to Kiev.

At the same time, he underscored that his country also needs weapons.

Trump announced on July 7 that Washington will send “a certain amount of additional weapons” to Ukraine.

According to the president, these are “primarily defensive weapons.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio informed three days later that the supply of US weapons continues, generally according to the plan agreed upon between the Administration in Washington and Congress.
