Fattouh condemned, in a statement, the murder on Friday of two people, one of them also a US citizen, during an attack by extremists in Sinjil.

The Palestinian leader affirmed that the new incursion represents a dangerous escalation in organized terrorism sponsored and protected by the far-right occupation government.

He emphasized that the attack reflects the extent of the moral decay and brutality practiced by settler militias, under the official cover of the Israeli authorities.

He warned about the issue that the government headed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is providing the settlers with weapons, military vehicles, and special police to protect them.

Fattouh underscored that the project is part of a broader plan to empty the West Bank of its original owners.
