According to local sources cited by Syria TV channel, this raid occurred a few hours after Zionist troops attacked agricultural lands west of Bir Ajam in rural southern Quneitra, setting fires.
Local news networks reported that the soldiers fired directly at agricultural areas along the buffer strip with the occupied Golan, causing fires that spread to extensive areas of farmland and trees.
The deputy governor of Quneitra, Muhammad Al-Saeed, denounced the Israeli army’s constant violations and the construction of more than eight military bases inside the buffer zone stipulated in the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement.
He pointed out that such violations have resulted in the closure of approximately six thousand hectares of agricultural land and pastures to the civilian population, causing significant losses to families who depend on livestock for their livelihood.
