Acosta Danza to celebrate ten years on stage

Havana, Aug 9 (Prensa Latina) The Acosta Danza company will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a series of performances at the Teatro Nacional de Cuba's Avellaneda Hall in Havana, an opportunity that those who admire the young dance group should not miss.

Under the guidance of virtuoso dancer Carlos Acosta, one of the country’s greatest dance talents, the company will go up on stage on September 5, 6, and 7.

Since its foundation in 2015, Acosta Danza has maintained a busy performance schedule worldwide, combining classical and contemporary styles and fusing Cuban dance elements.

Several awards endorse these ten years of artistic career, including the United Kingdom’s National Dance Award in 2024 for the Best Medium-Format Company category.

The multi-award-winning dancer passionately carries out this project in this capital, in addition to his international commitments as one of the leading figures in pointe dancing.
