Teshager stated this while presiding over the inaugural planning session prepared by the members of the general committee to ensure the success of the celebration scheduled for December 8, a momentous occasion that highlights the nation’s rich cultural heritage and diversity.

He noted that the activity in the Central Region shows the tangible result of extensive efforts to address several concerns. The selection of that venue will serve as a catalyst for development, infrastructure expansion, and regional investment growth, he added.
The upcoming edition, he emphasized, is of particular importance as it coincides with a period of national renewal across all sectors of the country’s development, as well as the inauguration of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and the formal launch of the national consultation process.
With more than 80 unique nationalities, each with their own languages, traditions, and customs, Ethiopia stands as one of the most diverse countries in Africa.
