The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that seven enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Smolensk region, six over the Bryansk region, and six over the Smolensk region, three over the Oryol region, the same number over Moscow, one over Kaluga, and one over Tver.
The Defense Ministry informed that no casualties or material damage were reported due to the downing of the aircraft over Russian soil.
The national air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, announced that for the first time in the last few days, no temporary flight restrictions have been reported at airports in the country’s southwestern region due to security reasons.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, drone attacks launched from Ukraine on military and civilian targets in the Russian rear have become routine.
