Hosted by journalist and critic Fernando Rodriguez, the event will celebrate Gomez’s 85th birthday who graduated in painting and sculpture from San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts and wrote more than thirty books for children, young adults, and adults.

Born in the Santiago de Cuba province in 1940, Teresita Gomez is a renowned ceramist, sculptor, and painter who has exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions both in and outside her country.
