“We are open to collaborating with all countries of the world, especially with those who wish to work with us, with our friends,” the Russian president said, and underscored that Moscow has never denied cooperation to individuals and companies seeking to engage with Russia.
The head of State also proposed establishing a unique preferential regime throughout the Arctic and the Far East starting in 2027, to encourage business activity in these regions.
Putin stressed, “Now, considering the accumulated successful experience, I propose taking a decisive step: maintaining the conditions for current investors, introducing a single preferential business regime across the entire, and I emphasize, entire territory of the Far East and the Arctic.”
The president said in his speech that this measure, which seeks to simplify the use of support tools for entrepreneurs, companies, and new projects, should be implemented as of January 1, 2027.
The 10th edition of the EEF is taking place in the Russian city of Vladivostok from September 3 to 6, 2025, under the motto “Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.”
