The day before, the Ukrainian Army launched a drone attack against Gulliver Park in Donetsk, where many people and children were gathered. Six people were injured, including a child born in 2011.
It is a bloody crime committed premeditatedly by the Ukrainian military against peaceful residents of Russia. There is not, nor was there, any military facility next to that park. The attack was directed against the children and their parents, the diplomat commented.
She added that Kyiv’s aspirations “to increase the intensity of the military confrontation and thwart any attempt at a peaceful resolution to the conflict” are very obvious, therefore, she said: We urge the international community to properly assess such misdeeds by the neo-Nazi junta in Kyiv, which continues to perpetrate them while enjoying unlimited support from its Western patrons, the spokesperson added.
Zakharova emphasized that “the silence in response to the barbarity of the current followers of Bandera (Ukrainian ultranationalist) and his puppets in so-called civilized democracies is a manifestation of their complicity.”
Russia reserves the right to respond appropriately to this terrorist attack and at the same time reiterates its unwavering commitment to seeking a solution to the conflict through constructive dialogue, she stressed.
